The Thunderbird (also know as T-Bird) was manufactured by the Ford Motor Company in the United States from 1955 through 2005. It have eleven model generation from 1955 trough 2005. The 1960 Thunderbirds were known as the ‘Square Birds’, due to their unique square shape which made them very different from the first generation Thunderbird. For 1960, the Thunderbird was given another new grille and other minor stylistic changes along with a newly optional manually operated sunroof for hardtop models. Under the hood was a 352 cubic-inch V8 that produced an impressive 300 horsepower. A three-speed manual transmission was standard with overdrive or Cruise-O-Matic being offered as optional equipment. Another major improvement for 1960 was the use of leaf springs for the rear axle.
